Blaze the Butte Challenge

• The fun run will take place on Saturday, October 17th at 10:00 am at  The Butte, Vale, Oregon 44.011140, -117.088756  Please arrive by 9:30 a.m. to allow sufficient time for check-in, registration, and warm-up before the event begins. 
• All participants will start together. 5K runners will accompany the Buddy Walkers for the first ¼ mile to their starting point, providing a great warm-up and a wonderful opportunity to show your support. 
• Once all 5K participants are gathered at the starting point, the MC and timekeepers will officially start the 5K. 
• The 5K follows a scenic off-road trail, offering beautiful views and a fun challenge for participants. 

The event will take place rain or shine! Please dress appropriately for the weather.

All participants are invited to enjoy water and refreshments after completing the walk or race. 

Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 finishers in each of these categories:

• Men
• Women
• Young Men
• Young Women

Following the awards ceremony, join us for our raffle drawing!

• Each participant will receive one complimentary raffle ticket. 
• Additional tickets will be available for purchase.

The registration fee is $20 for each individual. You may pay when registering via venmo or credit card or on the day of the race via cash, venmo or credit card. 

Race shirts will not be available for purchase; however, we invite you to show your support by purchasing Exceptional Minds Learning Center (EMLC) merchandise on the day of the race. All proceeds go directly to the students at Exceptional Minds Learning Center.

Porta-potties will be provided for participants and guests. As we are honored to host this event on private land, we ask all participants and guests to help us care for and respect the property.

• Please drive and park with care. 
• Dispose of all trash in designated bins. 
• Help us leave the property as beautiful and clean as we found it.
